Diane has been at the helm and overseen close to one thousand weddings for our lovely couples, so we feel that her experience and knowledge are invaluable to future brides and grooms. Diane’s advice is:
Talk to the Experts
Check if your prospective transport supplier have been established in the wedding car hire business for many years – are they accredited or won awards. Check the company out online through social media – look at reviews and feedback, Whoever you choose must have a good reputation and be recognised and known for reliability and expertise in the industry.
Look Before You Book
It is important to view the car prior to booking and you must be confident on how your car will be presented on your special day. Be aware that vehicles can differ enormously from photographs! Reputable hire companies will welcome you to view the cars at appointed times. You may also see the relevant car at various wedding shows.
Be an Early Bird
Reputable companies will have dairies open and have bookings tree years in advance, so when you have set the date for your wedding day book the transport.
Read the Contract
When booking ensure that you have a clear hire agreement outlining all details, the wedding date, pick-up address, journey details, hire period, type of car and expectations on the day, if you do not understand the terms ask for clarification, read the contract thoroughly and when you are happy with all the details sign and return to the company as this is the safeguard for you and the supplier.
